Composed by Allen and featuring a distinctive swelling accordion backup (probably played by Bill Mankiss) it was first a Sparton single and was then included on the Sparton LP “Maple Leaf Hoedown Vol. 2”, later reissued on the GRT label. It was published in the folio “Ward Allen’s Canadian Fiddle Tunes Vol. 1” GRIZZLY BEAR: Another gem culled from Ward’s singles for the second “Maple Leaf Hoedown” album.
