This is the original recording by Reg Hill of his composition “The Buck Fever Rag”. It is from his album “Ottawa Valley Hoedown”, Banff RBS 1190, c.1964. Many fiddlers have played this piece but very few play it true to how Reg did. Reg was a member of Mac Beattie’s Ottawa Valley Melodiers and Mac can be heard on washboard here.
