Midnight on the Water is a beautiful old cross-tuned fiddle waltz. It was written by Luke Thomasson, Benny Thomasson’s father. Midnight on the Water is definitely one of the prettiest fiddle tunes I have ever heard. I am playing it in Drop D tuning (DDAD).
