This is a medley of songs that we put together for the annual meeting of the High Country Christian Homeschoolers in Boone, NC. The meeting was held August 10, 2009, at Laurel Springs Baptist Church. Our ensemble included ten fiddlers, two guitarists and a singer, backed up by three dads on guitar and one mom on acoustic bass. The tunes included (in order) Margaret’s Waltz, Old Joe Clark, Cluck Old Hen, Jerusalem Ridge, Blackberry Blossom, Alabama Jubillee, Calliope House, Ashokan Farewell, Midnight on the Water, and Whiskey Before Breakfast.
